World famous Flora-Bama Roadhouse, an icon of local talent, continues to struggle with reconstruction from the ravages of Hurricanes and bureaucracy. Rebuilding has been a problem because of government's theft of our property rights. Perdido Property Rights is part of this fight to regain control of a government that has stifiled rebuilding and growth of the local community. Condominium developments are the bane of property tax increases, making property values and insurance rates soar. Condos are not selling, due to hurricane savvy buyers and average propery taxes have doubled or gone up as much as 1100% in some cases. The powers that be are threatening our neighborhood with laws designed to remove, first our rights, and then us, probably to make room for more condos...
